Questions Mums Often Ask
When should I book my newborn session?
You can get in touch anytime during your pregnancy using your due date. I’ll pop that into my calendar, then once bub arrives, we’ll work together to choose your actual session date. There’s no need to know exactly when baby will arrive — they rarely stick to our plans anyway!
What if my baby doesn’t sleep?
Please don’t worry about this at all. Your baby doesn’t need to sleep for their session. We’ll cuddle, feed, change and take little breaks whenever they need them. Some of my favourite photographs are those wide-eyed moments when bub is simply looking up at Mum or Dad.
What do we wear?
You don’t need to go shopping for your session. I have a beautiful wardrobe available for mums and little outfits and wraps for baby. I’ll also help you with what Dad and siblings can wear so everything works beautifully together without everyone needing to match.
What if my toddler doesn't cooperate?
Completely normal — and I definitely don't expect them to! We keep things moving, let them come and go, cuddle Mum, investigate baby and have little breaks when they need them. Some of the sweetest sibling photographs happen in those few seconds when they're simply being themselves.
