Four O Photography is a newborn photography business based in Hilbert, Perth, Western Australia, operated by Mia O'Neill (ABN provided on request).
I am committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the *Privacy Act 1988* (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy explains how I collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information.

I collect personal information directly from you. I do not purchase information from third parties or collect it from public sources without your knowledge.

Your personal information is stored and managed using the following trusted platforms:
Studio Ninja - my client management system, used to store your name, phone number, email address, family member names, baby's due date and session details, and to send booking confirmations and session communications
Pic-Time - my gallery delivery platform, used to store and deliver your finished images
Outlook - my email platform, used for all client communications
Showit - my website hosting platform
Stripe - my payment processing platform. I do not store, see or have access to your card details. All payment information is handled directly and securely by Stripe.
I take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure. However, no online system can be guaranteed completely secure, and I encourage you to contact me immediately if you have any concerns.
I retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide my services and meet my legal obligations. When your information is no longer needed, I will delete or de-identify it.
5. Why I Collect and Use Your Information
I use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiries
- Book and confirm your photography session
- Send you your session guide and preparation information
- Deliver your gallery and sneak peek images
- Process payments

6. Photography and Image Consent
Client Images
During your session, I capture images of you and your family, including newborn babies and children. These images are stored securely in Pic-Time and are only accessible to Four O Photography and you.
Use of Images for Marketing
As part of my photography services, I may use your session images for marketing and promotional purposes, including on my website, social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook), Google Business Profile, paid advertising, and client testimonials and reviews.
If you do not wish for your images to be used for any marketing purpose, please let me know in writing before or at the time of your session. I will always respect your wishes and will not use your images without your agreement.
Model Call Sessions
Where you participate in a complimentary model call session, a model release form will be provided and signed before the session takes place. This form clearly outlines how your images will be used.
Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw consent for image use at any time by emailing fourophotography@outlook.com. Withdrawal of consent applies to future use only and does not affect images already published prior to your request.
Children's Images
I treat images of babies and children with the utmost care. I will never publicly tag, name or identify children in any marketing material without parental agreement.
7. Sharing Your Information
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
I share your information only with the trusted platforms needed to operate my business, as listed in Section 4. These platforms are only given the information necessary to perform their services.
I may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of my clients or the public.
Some platforms I use including Google, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Showit and Studio Ninja may store data on servers located outside Australia as part of their standard operations. These platforms operate under their own privacy policies.
